CAN I stop taking Xanax .25 from one day to another?

I'm going to check with my dr. but I just want some personnel stories and opnions. I'v been on xanax .25 one every night for anxiety for about a month. I'm 16. I just want to stop taking them. Is that safe from one day to another or do I need to reduce?

Answer:
.25 is pretty much the lowest dose so as far as withdrawals are concerned and negative effects... you should be 100% okay but it might be smart to drop to 1 every other day, then after a week, stop completely. Your doc will know better though.
