What is a good medical magazine for a freshman medical student?

• So, this is my first year of med school YAY, right?...and It's really tough already ^^ but I want to enrich my knowledge more and thought of reading a magazine that suits my level, something that will help my study later on. =)) any recommendations?

  I'm not aware of any journal that would cover only the level of medical topics at your educational stage. For me, reading the New England Jouranl of Medicine, and especially the case records of MGH, - even though at times the material was unfamiliar - was invaluable in teaching me the approach in terms of differential diagnosis - the analytic phase of medical evaluation - that worked well later in my studies and during the clinical years. If there are publications at your level, it seems to me your dean should be able to advise you of such. I think your idea of reading such material is great and will serve you more than well once you get into the clinical phase. Good luck.
