What are the side effects of hepatitis vaccinations?

Side-effects of antibiotic Lymecycline?

  • I've been on the antibiotic Lymecycline for three weeks now, and have felt the side-effects kick in a week ago. I'm constantly tired, have headaches and my skin tone has yellowed; I'm not as pale as I used to be. I read the leaflet and found that it could cause "inflammation of the liver which may cause a general feeling of being tired and unwell sometimes with a fever and yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)." This describes exactly how I'm feeling, and although it states underneath that "usually the unwanted side effects are not serious and happen at the start of treatment. More often than not the effects go away as you continue to take the capsules", I'm a little suspicious that continuing the antibiotics may lead to even more adverse effects on my health. (I'm also worried that I may have acute hepatitis?!) Has anyone experienced the same, and continued with the course to find that the side-effects fade away? I'm on the course for 2 months (for treatment of acne), and have to continue it for another few months after finishing this course. Can I just discontinue use? I have schoolwork and exams to think of, and I can't go on feeling general malaise at school...
