Which is cheaper, Nasonex or Nasacort?

Question about my medicine, nasonex?

• I know i should be asking my doc about this but i figured some of you might know because nasonex is a common medicine. Ive been taking nasonex on an off for a while now because for some reason we are having trouble paying for a constant supply of it. Anyhow i recently got more and ive been on it for about a week and a half amd for the past few days my nose is very bloody. Could this be because of the nasonex or just a coincidence? I mean the nasonex is working, im breathing better through my nose now because there isn't anything in the qay but could it be making my nose bloody?

  Lean forward, spray toward outside of nostril. Helps reduce bloody nose, which is possible side effect. Hold off for a few days and you will heal. Ask your doc about Flonase which is available generically as fluticasone. It should work the same as nasonex, as both are steroids and I do not believe that there are superiority studies. A lot cheaper too
