After I went home I rested but the day after I started having pain. and right now after 3 days I still have pain and some bleeding. my pain is like the day before you wanna have your period. Its not my time to have period. had anybody here having my problem or had surgery like me. Could u pls help me and tell me what to do? is it normal or not? and another quastion how many days after surgery is the best time to have sex?

  • Answer:

Depending on the size and location of the polyp in the cervix, you may experience several days of pain and some slight bleeding, and heaviness which will gradually diminish and should be totally gone within 1 week. As to having sex, I usually advise my patients to refrain for maybe 4-6 weeks but I don't really think they are able to and most admit to having done it cautiously after 2 weeks with no problems reported.
