Is I am 5'6 145lbs I take 2½ hydrocodone 10mg a day I've take for around 6mnths since I've takin 4 a while will it stay in my system longer? And I have a friend he toldd me 2 drink 10 vitamin waters in 2days 2 help! Appreciate anybody that takes the time to read and answer this question. Jus so everybody knows I'm dnt jus take 4 fun jus seems I'm always injured and needed the pain relief I cut my finger on a meat slicer, then I fell down bar stairs carrying cases of beer from basement the basement stairs were covered in kitchen grease bruised 3 ribs tore a muscle and most recent I ripped off a finger nail I have terrible luck lol

Hydocodone has a half-life of 4 hours. One of the active metabolites, Hydromorphone has a similar half-life. Do you know Hydromorphone is 3 to 5 times as powerful as Heroin on a milligram-milligram basis? Hydrocodone is one of the strongest analgesics available and 25 mg per day over 6 months could give you a nice little dependence problem. It is usually prescribed for severe, chronic pain. Your pain-relief approach is analogous to killing a fly with a small thermonuclear device. How do you feel if you don't take any Hydrocodone (or any other analgesics) for a few days? Pretty average I would imagine. Try taking medication that is more appropriate for your level of pain. Dihydrocodeine 30-60 mg. Tramadol 100 mg. There are others - ask your doctor. The very fact that you point out that you're not taking this drug for fun is the most telling part of your question. I would wager that Heath Ledger, Brittany Murphy and Anna Nicole-Smith had terrible luck in varying degrees. They sure ain't lol-ing now.
