What is the status on medical research on HIV AIDS so far?

Not that much has been resolved except with medication they have barelly succeded in prolonging life. The solution lies in finding a virius which would destroy or mutate the HIV virus. WE have Excelent scientists in the labs which could or have found solution.However they get fired from the Phamaceutical companies which fail to understand their abilities and potentials,and because they would not want to pay them a proper SAlary.So the Victims become discouraged and quit the research altogether.

Nope. Till now its still under research. But there are a few medicines that seem to help in increasing the life span of patients. First came AZT, then pentamidine(an aerosol drug that helps prevent lung infections) Compound Q is another drug which is purified extract of root of Chinese cucumber. It is more formally known as trichosanthin. It has recently been used in china to treat certain fast spreading tumors. The focus for drug companies is the protease,(an enzyme that HIV needs to replicate itself)

There are some people with AIDS testifying that their HIV counts dropped to zero when they started to take extra virgin coconut oil for maintenance.
