How many years of college does it take to become a diagnostic medical sonographer?

How many years of college total does it take to become a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists)?

  • I am thinking about becoming a CRNA. I know the job is stressful. But i love the idea of helping people. If you work as a CRNA can you give me a outline of your day. The pros and cons. How many years total did it finally take for you to become a CRNA. Because on some websites it says 4-6 years others 7-10. I know it depends on the person but how long did it personally take you? And what kind of hours do you work? Do you ever worry about killing someone by accident if you messed up? Because i think that is what i am most worried about. Thank you for your help.

  • Answer:

4 years for the BSN. 1 - 2 years of ICU experience. 2 - 3 years of CRNA school. Eventually it will be required to have a Doctor degree which will be the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia and is referred to as the DNAP. It would not be a Ph.D. which has a totally different focus in academics.
