Are you ready for socialized health care?

Heres what health care is like in Britain. Why on earth does Obama wanna do this? Great Britain's National Health Service (NHS) was created on July 5, 1948. As with all government programs, bureaucrats underestimated initial cost projections. First-year operating costs of NHS were 52 million pounds higher than original estimates1 as Britons saturated the so-called free system. Many decades of shortages, misery and suffering followed until 1989, when some market-based health care competition was reintroduced to the British citizens2. Unfortunately for those requiring care, a mostly socialist health care system still has problems. The articles and commentaries in this section identify some disasters caused by government intervention in the British health care system. * Only five out of 51 hospital trusts pass hygiene test, say inspectors - Sarah Boseley, November 24, 2008 [Guardian Unlimited] * Heart patients dying due to poor hospital care, says report - Sarah Boseley, June 8, 2008 [Guardian Unlimited] * NHS dentistry loses almost a million patients after new dentists' contract - David Rose, June 6, 2008 [The Times] * Private healthcare managers could be sent to turn round failing NHS hospitals - Philip Webster, Political Editor, and David Rose, June 4, 2008 [The Times] * Cancer patients ‘betrayed’ by NHS - Sarah-Kate Templeton, June 1, 2008 [The Times] * NHS scandal: dying cancer victim was forced to pay - Sarah-Kate Templeton, June 1, 2008 [The Times] * Pensioner, 76, forced to pull out own teeth after 12 NHS dentists refuse to treat her - Olinka Koster, March 26, 2008 [Daily Mail(UK)] * Dental patients face care lottery - March 26, 2008 [Metro(UK)] * Lung patients 'condemned to death as NHS withdraws their too expensive drugs' - Jenny Hope, March 24, 2008 [Daily Mail(UK)] * Women in labour turned away by maternity units - John Carvel, March 21, 2008 [Guardian Unlimited] * Health inequality has got worse under Labour, says government report - Andrew Sparrow, March 13, 2008 [Guardian Unlimited] * Angry GPs reluctantly accept plan for weekend and evening surgeries - John Carvel, March 7, 2008 [Guardian Unlimited] * NHS chiefs tell grandmother, 61, she's 'too old' for £5,000 life-saving heart surgery - Chris Brooke, February 28, 2008 [Daily Mail(UK)] http://www.liberty-page.com/issues/healthcare/socialized.html#britain

Answer:
No. I won't be getting any of that. Most of us Conservatives will either be dead, or reconditioned in one of the Obama training camps if we're considered an asset to the Collective. I'm not f/n round. It's already happening. Obama is moving quickly. He's taken our right to privacy away already, the Census bureau is HIS, and no one did anything, because the Liberals are all in COMPLETE control of every office of the Federal Government, the GOP have NO power. Conservatives citizens are basically alone. If you don't believe me, just wait. Think of Germany, the Russian Revolution, the French Revolution, the Russian Coo under Boris Yeltson, that one happened so fast even Yeltson didn't know it. Please prepare. Every Government Take Over I ever heard of was fast and the unwary peoples who were most likely to pose a threat to the overtaken country were put out quickly. Please get ready, that's the best I can do to warn you. Good Luck

Nope. I never go to the doctor, if it gets bad (and it's got to be really bad) I go to the hospital. I never miss a day of work unless I'm unconscious. That said, I pay a large percentage of my income for health insurance. I have since I was in my teens. I've always had insurance that I paid for. NOW... Why should I wait in line behind some welfare pile of trash who's dropping her kid to the hospital with the sniffle's so she can go out "clubbin"? Why should I wait in line behind some gangster who put himself in a position of being shot? I'm obviously more valuable then those people (EMPHASIS ON THOSE PEOPLE). Don't tell me it doesn't happen, it does, I've seen it.

I am thinking its probably BS but we dont know what the plan is. BTW nobody reads questions that long... Stephen, NOBODY is dying because they dont have health insurance! The fact that you have teachers explains most of your answers...

Well that can't be true, you hear about all those people that swim to england for hea....wait a minute- everyone comes HERE for healthcare
Nope. Good luck explaining facts about "free healthcare" to the liberals. In the sick mind of a liberal, 'health care' is a 'human right'. That is no where in the Constitution. A service provided by another human is not a 'human right'

Just as ready as I am to see this copy and paste job for the 50th time yet again, yes.
