Is there a legal definition of African-American in the US?

Why do we argue over erroneous concepts of right vs left & totally miss the big picture that affects us all?

• The reality of right vs left and what is best for us all as a total group is lost in a cloud of what I believe is deliberate obfuscation. A smoke screen to divide us and manipulate us into demonizing each other so that the country will be weak. It's done all over the world, but the dynamics in the US are different. Capitalism under Oligarchy as in Europe's reality isn't the US reality ... yet. Right and Left is just a stupid way to try to categorize political realities unless you want to obfuscate from reality. It all pretty much boils down to the amount of governmental control and destruction of freedom, pushed upon the people. The way right and left are used now in the US is just basically bait to get the people to support what certain groups want. Politicians tend to be all about the issue, the solution? Not so much, because the issue is a motivational push, the leverage, that gives them power. Collectivism in particular, the taking of money from one group and giving it to another? It's insidious, but many are parasitic by nature and if they are going to get something they will rationalize it out to say it's right. Rights to a home someone else got robbed to pay for? A right to a job that isn't the result of the employee providing a valuable service the employer wanted to be done and was willing to pay a certain amount for? Talk about perverting the language! You can't have a natural right that involves taking another's natural right, as in the right not to be stolen from. When you say why don't we just tax those born with a silver spoon ... you're saying why don't we just rob the efforts of their parents and make working hard pretty much without reward. You're advocating Robbery, for that, YOU SUCK! Thieves should be punished. Taxation for mutual benefit as in defense of the country, legal system to keep us all safe or punish those who violate rights, to basically create a fair environment where everyone has their shot at their dreams, that's fair taxation. Taxation to take from one group or person to give to another isn't taxation at all, it's theft. Charity can never come from an involuntary taking, that's theft. Charity can never come from government because they don't have anything, they just manage in others interest. To take that and put it towards their own political power is theft, piracy. If government backs that up it doesn't legitimize it, it just means that government is involved in organized crime. Not in the perverted meaning of the word that says Regressives who want to take us back to no individual rights and a heavy central Power controlling all with the people's purpose being to serve as live stock, are Progressive in that twisted way of speaking, but that's Regressive. Individual rights and a government controlled by the people for the people is Progressive in the true definition of the word. The most successful experiment in human rights and freedoms which the US Constitution lays out is very Progressive. There are those who would like to destroy it, they are liars who pervert and twist language to their own ends, and they spawned the "Progressive" movement in the US and that movement is ever about deception, because the truth about them will always cause them to be rejected by the people.

  I totally agree! We have been subdivided by race, religion and economic status only to make the whole weak. We have been led to believe we are all currently victims of one of these classes and we need govt. to make it right. Individualism and personal responsibility are becoming a dirty word. We can't possibly fight all the people that exploit us, so we willingly handover our individualism for the safety of what amounts to hollow promises. We argue because that is what we have be trained to do by our schools and media outlets.
