Who do you think is the anti-christ?

What must the people who think Obama is the "antiChrist" and a Muslim be thinking right now?

  • How can they rationalize their belief that Obama is the "antiChrist" with the fact that Obama has just won a landslide victory in the Electoral College, won 8 states that voted for George W Bush in 2004, and won the largest popular vote victory of any Democrat since Lyndon Johnson in 1964? Do they really think that he is still the antiChrist? Do they really think that 52% of Americans, including self-proclaims conservatives, evangelicals, and rural and small town voters, just helped elect the antiChrist?

    I attend church all the time and I am a proud christian, I voted for Obama spread the word and even phone banked. I would not have voted for someone who I believe was evil but with that said I would not judge someone on their believes. And as far as I know about the anti christ he is suppose to come from europe and suppose to be loved. You can come to ya and see all the hate for him.

They simply continue to believe everyone else is wrong. The American far right fringe has a cult mentality. Only they have the holy truth and the whole outside world is against them (liberal bias) The far right fringe who controlled the Republican party the last decades that was so successfully defeated this election by the American people see Democrats not as political opponents but enemies that need to be defeated and threats to the country. Whether or not the GOP will finally move to the center and out of the grip of this anti intellectual fundamentalist bunch remains to be seen. Even after this crushing defeat I fear that's unlikely. In their best traditions of denial I already heard several conservative analysts insist they lost this election because the ticket wasn't conservative enough Classic cult mentality

Him being the anti-Christ would mean that he would be blindly supported and praised by people....uh, based on what you just said then wouldn't that support their theory he's the anti-Christ? Duh FYI, statistics show that those that regularly attend church voted for McCain. Don't pretend that they voted for Obama. Those that claim no religion mostly voted Obama. We are now an obamanation. I'm scared for our future. We've elected a man that wants to break free of the restraints of our founding fathers. So much for the constitution. Obama will tread on it like the other Democrats.

that's the "virtue" of faith. it needs no proof. they only need to believe. I got an answer today from someone who preferred mcCain but is actually happy Obama won because in her mind the "Coming is near"!

The evangelicals voted for McCain, fool. It's called the bible belt and McCain won every state. I think some (not I) feel that he is the anti-Christ because he is not a Christian. Brush up on your arabic, folks.
