Why is America the fattest nation?

How would America and Mexico treat a nation more advanced than they are on there border?

• THIS IS A WHAT IF SCENARIO NOTHING MORE I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW THE US MILITARY WOULD HANDLE THEIS IS ALL Here is the scenario: lets say both north and south Baja California was one sepearate nation from Mexico and the USA. The nation is 50 more years advance in military technology then the united states but they have no nukes. However there missile defense is capable of stopping a full blown nuclear attack. There military is far more advanced than any other nation including the US but claim its only for defensive purposes only. the nation only keeps to its self, doesn't wont anything to do with the rest of the would and wont share any of its technology. The nation has no allys or any bases in foreign nations. There technology has also allowed them to be completely self sufficient and does not depend on any foreign resources at all what so ever. Keep in mind they are at leat 50 years ahead in technology,border issues are not a problem for them, because they are completly closed off from the rest of the world, they also don't allow tourism so a spy would stick out like a sore thumb. (your probably thinking that mexicans and some americans may resemble them in apperance...i understand this but in this scenario lets just pretend that they were there own nationality (don't know what it would look like) that would be instantly reconizeable if they were seen in another country than there own. how would they be treat amonge other nationalitys in america. would the UN try to sanction them How would this nation be treat by other nations (china russia). what threats would be made toward them because of there advanced tech? The Problem: They have a lunar base and are planning permenent colonization on the moon by 2013 and will no doubt be the first to access lunar resources. would the US and Mexico try a joint invasion or something?

  I don't think in today's age, an invasion wouldn't happen- not with Mexico at least. I think that there would be many debates over the moon. Judging by the entirely different race, that makes other countries less likely to accept them, so realistically NATO may choose to defend the lunar territory. The US probably wouldn't attack alone for fear of judgement (nor would any other country), but many countries would feel threatened and may choose to act together.
