Is "Hillarycare" typically derogatory?

Do you agree with Mitt Romney that Hillary and Obama are Marxists?

  • He still won't get my vote, but he has gained some more respect with me... Sun Jul 22, 7:33 PM ET NASHUA, N.H. - Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney took aim at Democratic rivals on Sunday, calling them all unprepared to lead the country and comparing Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's economic plan to that of Socialist Karl Marx. "Hillary Clinton just gave a speech the other day about her view on the economy. She said we have been an on-your-own society. She said it's time to get rid of that and replace that with shared responsibility and we're-in-it-together society," Romney told the crowd. "That's out with Adam Smith and in with Karl Marx." "Barack Obama said we're going to have to have the government take over health care. He at least had the integrity to say he wants to raise your taxes," Romney said. "The right answer is not a government takeover, it's not socialized medicine. It's not Hillarycare." http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070722/ap_on_el_pr/romney_democrats_4

They've lost their f'ing minds!...This sort of insane rhetoric will make the 2008 election a political slaughterhouse for these socialist bastards...

UNCLE BEN

He is right in describing them as a bunch of socialists. They are not Marxist, but they buy into the Utopian socialist nonsense. Government is always the problem and never the solution.

The Stylish One

100%, Romney got that one right on the money!

Absolutely. Hillary has already announced her views for a "social democracy" here in America like the system on the European continent, which, by all accounts is bankrupting the EU countries. She has extremely socialist views.

Common Sense

As a matter of fact, I do agree with him. My family has worked hard to get from poor sharecroppers to where we are today & I do not plan to give it to people too lazy or unwilling to work. I pay for my insurnace & healthcare. I work "on my own" so Hillary is not free to give the fruits of my labor away. Obama will need an Army to take over my healthcare with "his" goverment . I may vote for Mitt Romney. At least, he understands what America was built on & built for. Freedom& hard work will allow all to succeed.

I believe that they stongly lean that way.

Dead Marxist is right, as usual.

Asshat McPoop

I agree. The marxist principles of political economy runs parallel to exactly what hillary said: "(in marxism) Political economy, studies the mechanism of human activity in organizing material, and the mechanism of distributing the surplus or deficit that is the result of that activity." Sounds scarily similar to: "She said it's time to get rid of that and replace that with shared responsibility and we're-in-it-together society". What marxist, socialist pigs dems are.
