Can someone identify this patch?

Can anybody identify this military patch?

  • Can anybody identify this military patch for me? The patch is primarily brown with am small bit of red at the top. It has two white stripes going from the top right down to just left of the point at the bottom and on the upper left side it has the Japanese island of Hokkaido in yellow. Here is also a picture of the patch: http://s26.photobucket.com/albums/c123/DS_outandabout/?action=view&current=Unitpatch.jpg Have you ever encountered a patch like this or something similar so that I can at least have some kind of starting point to try track it down ? I really appreciate your help on this one

    Nope, but I do know that it's a unit patch, which symbolizes certain divisions in the Army. Each one has a different meaning for it, but sadly I can't help you because I never seen a patch like this one.
