What department of the navy job is better?

How much does a navy listed culinary spec make and what kinda of training at boot camp?

  • Hi I am thinking about joining I have 8 years exp in culinary field but wanting to get a better rewarding carrier in cooking for Navy. I was wondering does culinary spec have to attend basic boot camp if so what is involved in training and also how fast is promotion in Culinary spec department average cooking job is 3 months. any and all info would be great thanks.

  • Answer:

Of course, every man in the Navy is required to attend Navy Basic Training. And you'll get paid ****. To start, around $1,200 a month. Just the same as I did when I started. The same as everyone else new to the Military. I don't understand why people come to the Military for money. Because the Military is not good for money unless you plan on staying a full twenty.

Kable's answer is right. Everyone has to go through basic training. The US NAVY website will most likely answer all of your questions.
