What were some names of some conflicts between Britain and France the lead to the hundred years war?

  • I am doing a project for my World History class, about the middle ages(400-1400) I wanted to do the Hundred years war(1337-1453) it goes past 1400, So he told me I could do conflicts in the middle ages, so I chose conflicts between, France and Britain, and it eventually over-over-over boiled into the hundred years war, but I need a lot of info on those other conflicts are there some conflicts, if so what are there names?

    Hi I've just learned about the Middle ages. Britain and France were called England and Normandy back then. There was the battle of Hastings which was with Harold Godwinson from England and William,the Duke of Normandy.Edward the Confessor had died,but he was the king in England and he had no children so he didn't was a heir.I was unsure who was going to replace the throne,and that cause up many wars. The three main people who wanted the job were: Harold Godwinson - from England (SAXONS) William,the Duke of Normandy- from Northern France (NORMANS) Harald Hardrada - from Norway Research about the invasions in 1066, the battle of Hastings,The battle of Fulford and the battle of Stamford bridge. I think you should research and do you project on 1066. I hope this helped you.
