Homeschoolers in the Marines?

Are you sad about our fine young Marines?

  • Four more marines killed in Iraq Sun Jul 30, 2006 BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Four U.S. marines have been killed in action in restive Anbar province, the U.S. military said on Sunday. The marines, assigned to Regimental Combat Team 7, died on Saturday. No further details were available. The only information is the Marines have been getting hurt day in and day out by the rag tag insurgents. The Marines have been retreating due to being defeated every step of the way. Many Marines, as well as the army men have been seen crying their eyes out due to getting a Butt kicking. The casualties followed the deaths of four other marines in Anbar, west of Baghdad, on Thursday. They too got their Butts kicked. U.S. President George W Bush last week boosted U.S. troop levels in Iraq after increasingly violence raised fears that the Marines were getting a hard Butt beating.

Yes, even though I disapprove of the war, I don't like to see our troops getting injured or killed. In response to other matters: I can't email you because I disabled my email on this site (too much hate mail). This was the question I was referring to: Think (you know who) would stand outside of Fort Dix, wearing a sandwich board lettered with one of his questions? Asked by ProfessorChaos - 10 answers - Military - 1 day ago - (Question has been removed) I have a pretty good idea who the fink was, as I have made a few enemies on this site. Oh well. I have a hunch you know what that's like.

My best friend leaves to Boot camp in a month, he has chosen this life. Every marine out there knows that what he's doing is right. They are doing what they love to do, and they are willing to die. We should be proud of them, and their decisions. They belong to the greatest military force on the planet. We just need to keep supporting them throughout everything. I don't want any more to die, and i want them home, but i'm sure they want to finish what they started.

If all of you Americans are so sad about this, why dont you practice your democracy and vote for withdraw of American troops out of Iraq?Doesnt democracy mean "A form of government in which political power is exercised by the citizens"? Or it is not permitted and Bush is a dictator? Is that kind of democracy you want to spread in the Middle East?

No, I'm sad about our poor old president. I've never met a marine that didn't love what they were doing. (And I met a lot of them while I was in the Navy) Most of them even get excited about the possibility of dying in a war. They're highly trained, highly ambitious, and far better at killing the enemy than getting killed themselves. They know what they're getting into, and if they don't know what they're getting into... Four more dead marines today? How many Iraquis have we killed in that time? How many terrorists have we caught? War requires casualties, and while most marines don't plan to die in combat, they're ready for that possibility. I feel sad about their families, but the Marines died doing what they loved, and I wish that when my time comes I do too. Our president on the other hand does not appear to know what he's getting into, and I'm sad that he's allowed to have any say in what our Marines do.
