-
my fiance gave me his address at his new NAS and when he usually gives me his address he says his name first then the street and so on but this one the very first thing he said was CNATTU so do I just write his name above that?

Answer:
Being former us Navy, I know that abbreviations and acronyms abound in the Navy culture to an extreme. If I were tryign to mail a letter, I would address it as normal but put a ATTN: CNATTU line below the name. This will helpthe base post office help sort out where to deliver it. I hope this helps.

he didn't explain to you what the abbreviation was for? I would call the base and ask. It may be his department. I'd call...that's my best suggestion...
