Housing assistants??

Housing benefits have evaluated mine andd my partners claim wrong saying we get more than we do?

  • Housing benefits have said that me and my partner get £450 pcm before the birth of our first child as did the housing aid association but we actually get £390 pcm without knowing we were looking for housing in the range of £400pcm- £450pcm we found a nice sized house and have been in here since august 2011 until january 2012 without our housing going up, once our baby was born i went back to housing benefits and upsated my claim they said "yes mr wallis your claim has been updated you will now recieve just a little bit more" so as you do i asked how much they said £450 pcm so i said ok then it must be all the housing changes going on with the goverment the lady at the counter agreed saying "ow yes mr wallis it all has changed somewhat recently" so i thought nothing of it then yesterday i got a phone call from my letting agent saying "mr wallis we have only been receiving £350 pcm we need you to come up with another £600 or im afraid your going to have to leave the property" i went down to housing benefits and they basically told me that i was never told by either housing aid that i would recieve £450 pcm and shouldn't have listened to them. now im £600 in debt which i cant afford because they gave me the wrong information me and my partner are both currently unemployed that means we receive £400 per month now after water electric food and the bare essentials i wouldn't be able to have ever given them £100 out of my money to top that up but was never told i would have to is there anybody who can help i would really appreciate it as im a 22 year old young man who has basically been rolled over by what seems a very immoral system thank you.
