What is the legal consequence of storing people's site content on my site.i'll av d copyright still on my site notified people of the ownership of the content. assuming you own an article and i just store it on my server so that i can read it, i also want to keep the copyright. so i might just pick the content from anywhere.

Storing someone's content on your site doesn't mean you own the copyright. The copyright belongs to the person who created it automatically. It must be expressly assigned to you before you will own it. Ofcourse any graphics or writing etc YOU put on your site will attach copyright of which you will be the owner.
