How is a UK Criminal Record Check (CRB) Notarised? What is the procedure the notary uses to check details?
-
Notarised CRBs are required for various reasons these days. Aposolising seem to me to be an expensive and pointless exercise. How do these notaries check things like CRBs. I guess they are trusted to contact Universities for things like checking degrees, but what about CRBs especially as some information should stored by the police, but not revealed apart from in subject access and extended disclosure systems?

Answer:
I think they look on the Crb certificate that you get on completion, for most peopl that's good enough.
