How to obtain a legal Gun License and Gun in India?

In todays India where lives are threatened by Bombs (Religion), Kalmadi (Sports) and A.R. Rehman (Music) :) ....... Guns have become a essential now. I am requesting information or conditions for obtaining a license to buy a gun... I have lived in USA where there is a Consitutional Right to buy Arms for protection. Therefore, as an indian who is threatened in india. do i have the right to obtain a firearm? please guide me. PS: I am a middle class working india who is threatened, abused and played around everyday. Just to make my family safe and myself safe i need a gun. Kindly Help me .

You cannot use a gun because you are threatened, abused and played around. Your life must be in danger or the life of someone else. I think to own a gun in India is not allowed.
