What did the Leauge of Nations do the same as United Nations?

A registered lawyer in the united nations.?

  • I recieved a mail from a lawyer that he said he is registered in the united nations. I searched all the internet and the united nations site to verify his identity. But I coudn't find it. Please help me how can I find it out or introduce me a site of the united nations that lists all registered lawyers of the united nations. Thank you.

    I agree with the others. The UN has hundreds of lawyers who are employees and contractors. But it registers NONE for any purpose whatsoever. Lawyers qualified in ANY member country can practice before the International Court of Justice or before any UN tribunal or agency.

That means absolutely nothing! The letter you recieved is a scam. I'm guessing that they are trying to contact you about some dead relative and a huge inheritance that supposedly exists in another country OR they are saying you won a lottery. Am I Right? Anyway, if you really wanted to pursue this I suggest you hire your own attorney. Foreign attorneys also have bar associations (NOT THE UN), and they register with their BAR, just like we do in the USA. I guarantee it is a scam.

I think he is misleading you- he doresnt say registered to do WHAT? to my knowledge, doesn't exist/

If he contacted you, I doubt he is from anywhere near the UN, and if you are to believe him he should already have presented proof. Just tell him to fax 'em over, with a contactable number.

I work for the UN and it must be clear no UN employeded lawyer, accountant or anyone would be contacting you unless you requested it! If you want you can estate his name and I can double-check his name for you in the staff database! But this would be to make you super sure that it is a SCAM!
