Should not an "Act of God" have to be proven to be an act of a god?
-
If an insurance company claims an "Act of God" as a reason not to pay out the insurance, should not the insurance company have to prove that a god committed the act? ---
-
Answer:
It's not literal. Nobody can prove God exists, let alone what that God may do. It just means a natural event such as a flood. Many now prefer "act of nature" not "act of God"

They should have to provide proof. Also, you should find a new insurance company, because, YIKES. :)

Would you feel better if they changed the words to an "act of nature".
