How long does it take to receive a call or mail or something for the border patrol background investigation?

I received this letter on Feb 7th regarding regarding my own BP packet. They make reference to CBP but its actually Border Patrol that I put in for. I've been waiting for a long time and I am quite frankly getting a bit pissed off. lol Good luck! Dear CBP Job Applicant: You were previously notified that you were tentatively selected for a position with Customs and Border Protection. Unfortunately, due to the large number of cases being processed by the Office of Internal Affairs, the length of time that it takes to complete the background investigation has increased. The complete background investigation process now takes approximately 12 months from the date your background investigation forms are forwarded to the Office of Internal Affairs. In cases where issues do arise, the background investigation process will take longer. Due to the privacy of the background investigation process, our office does not have access to any specific details regarding any applicant's investigation and cannot predict a timeframe for completion. When the security process is completed, our office will be notified and the outcome will be reflected on the CASS website.
