Lawyer Salaries?

I would like to know what lawyer/attorney receives the highest salaries.?

  Generally, the specialists are at the top of the ladder - tax specialists, patent law attorneys, intellectual property attorneys - the ones that work in a very narrow field generally command the higher salary. Then comes insurance defense attorneys - although usually there's a degree of specialization. Right up with them are the trial lawyers (e.g. medical malpractice, car accidents, etc.) And generally the general practice lawyers are at the bottom. These are the lawyers who open up shop, take whatever comes in and charge a minimum retainer. Although perhaps the lowest paid are the public servant and public advocate type attorneys. Legal aid attorneys, public defenders, and deputy prosecuting attorneys for example are perhaps the least paid. It all varies, and I'm sure you can find tax attorneys that barely scrape by next to an attorney who does general family law - but I think the above list is a fairly accurate reflection of the general trends.
