I had started a new job and didn't get paid for any of my training. what can I do?
-
I had recently started a new job as a server making 3.80 an hour. I had trained for 20 hours which by law am suppose to get paid (minimum wage) of 7.25 an hour for training, well when I received my check yesterday there were no training hours that I was paid for, only hours that I served for. So I asked 2 co-workers and they said that they never got their training hours paid for when they started months ago either. What can I do??? I was also clocking in and clocking out since the moment I started training. what was the point of doing that if I wasn't gonna get paid?
