Are there any lawyers willing to take a case for free?

If theres any good lawyers on here that would take on a case against BofA,?

• regarding $14,000 in theft with forgery(on personal checks),and its a pretty clean case. i have medical records to prove that i was in a coma the dates my checks were written. i would be going after BofA cause i tried going through them but they dropped the charges saying,"i took too long," but, but was in a coma so there wasnt much i could do at the time. its probably more than 14 considering the fees and all that. oh, and im located in huntington beach, ca so any lawyers wanna take on a good clean case, please reply, thank you

  Taking too long isn't really the problem, you can still file your case unless it's been more than a year since you discovered the forgery. Then things are dicey. Your real problem is that the Bank is not the responsible party. Whoever forged your checks and received the money is the person to sue. Anyway, there are many fine lawyers in Orange County but you cannot find one here. Look in the yellow pages or call the Orange County Bar Association for a referral.
