After the post office does a background check, how long does it take for an interview?
-
I applied for an open position at USPS.com and was sent an email within 24 hours to fill out additional information to a company called “GIS”. A week goes by and I don’t hear anything back so I decided to call this GIS place, They told me everything came back clear and they sent my results back to the post office. That was about 3-4 days ago. So now I don’t know what the process is. When will I get an interview? Will USPS contact me if they have filled the slot? How long does it take after the interview to get hired? Thanks.

Answer:
You may not get one at all. It could take a lifetime.
