Is it ethical to use random twitter followers to get views on blog?
-
I have a twitter account with three followers, and a blog with an average of 5 views a day, and no followers. The twitter followers just followed me for no apparent reason (it's like followed me as soon as I created the account). I got the idea of post links of my blog onto the twitter account, and that gives me three views a day. (I know it's not a lot) but, is it ethical to use the random twitter followers to get views?

Answer:
That why its called a social network . But now social networks are making it very hard to use software to gain friends it becoming a total waste of time unless you have money to pay twitter for their service to add friends to many people can afford to pay for Se Nuke and other services unless their making over $40,000 and have a stable job. Of course it ethical where trying to survive out here.

I can't answer your original question, because I don't Twit, therefore, don't know how it works. That said, I can help you get more views on your blog (to some extent) AND give you a rough answer to sorta, maybe, kinda answer your original question. So, you want to get more views? Simple. (Well, the concepts are simple, but it takes continual effort to keep it going.) Two things required to get lots and lots of viewers for your blog - 1.) Post that have appeal for readers. (I washed my socks today is not appealing. How to get others to see your blog is.) Pick a topic that interest you and write enough about it so others with your same interest will start searching you out to find out more. Write and keep writing. A new article on your subject of interest twice a week, minimum. And your interest? It doesn't matter. If your interest is to make elaborate creations out of a cotton ball, trust me, you're not the only one interested in that. I end up with 6,000 views a month by writing stories about a teddy bear family. It's a small niche. Imagine how many views I'd get if I wrote about things, like say, "How to get people to visit your blog." That's got big appeal. It also has everything to do with what you need to know to get people interested in your blog and it has a name to it. It's called "SEO. Search Engine Optimizing." It's already an industry, for obvious reasons. Which brings me to... 2.) Get people to find your blog. I just told you how to do that. Start researching SEO. I can even tell you the site that taught me how to do it - Site_Reference.com. Go ahead. They have thousands and thousands of articles on everything you'd like to learn about getting people to your blog. They also teach how to make sites and make money for your site. The only thing required is the effort to learn and implement what you learn. After all, an old lady who writes stories about teddy bears just told you her blog got more views per month than yours. Tell me you can't pass my 6,000 views per month. (Sure you can. lol) As for, original question? If your forcing strangers to visit your blog, that's unethical. If you don't know them or why they connected to you, they're probably doing to you what you wanted from them - using you to get their word about their sites out. That's called "black hat SEO." It's like the bad guys in black hats in westerns. You want to do white hat SEO, because it's ethical and works without you getting in trouble with Google or any other Search Engine. Good luck. If you get lost, as you begin to learn SEO, ask on Site Reference forums. Guys on there are very helpful and patient for us Newbies. It's like picking up a new language, but you'll understand after a short while and get it more and more. Who knows, you might get into it enough to do it for a living. It's possible. Added after you added: "Teddy Bear stories." Gotcha. You write poetry and short stories. I'm a writer, too, but my niche is even smaller. Honest. You can get people reading your stuff. There are other writers and readers looking. All you need to do is find them. ;)
