In making 'work always pay' do the new government have any plans beyond slashing benefits?
-
Every time I see the News the government is talking about benefits. They keep saying that they will make sure that people 'are always better of in work'. Is there an aspect of their plans that will actually make people better off in work? or is just that they will slash benefits to make working better by comparison? I have seen all of the plans to cut benefits but not heard anything about making things better for those actually in work?Is there anything? Also the two reasons I am always broke (I think its the same for many) are: 1. the government takes a third of my money right out of my pay, then taxes me on everything I ever buy - Are there any plans to take less of my money from me? 2. The disgusting levels of rent in this country or the obscene amount you need for a mortgage - Are there any plans to rectify this housing crisis? All I have seen, is that people even poorer than me will be punished. What am I supposed to get out of it? Just the glee of seeing them punished? Thank You

Answer:
None what so ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not unless it benefits the politicians or their cronies. This coalition government find every way under the sun to keep from taking on the bankers and large corporations they relaxed the regulations on to cause this recession. They claim we are all in it together and that we all will have to pay our fair share for a problem they caused. Who are the first people they attack? The working poorer taxpayer and the truly disavantaged. The bankers, large corporations, and themselves get away with it all scot free. They in no way at all have experienced any of the hardships we have so far and for us it is going to get worse. This is far and away from what they promised isn't it? This is the way they control the majority of the population. Fear and attrition. Talk about terrorist! I'm more afraid of the people in our House of Commons and the Lords than I am of Al Queida. I can actually see old people die of the cold and young children starve because of this lot and its really sad but I think they couldn't care less as long as they and their cronies are ok. Greed and a grasp for power seems to be the only reason they do anything.

People should ALWAYS be better off in work. Never should they be better off on benefits than in payed employment EVER. It is the governments mistake to have ever allowed this situation. Benefits should only allow a meagre lifestyle and never be a choice. This is crushing the skilled workers... A minimum wage I understand and agree with in principle, but when employers have been stiffing workers for years then the skilled workforce have less and less real value compared with the minimum waged. The skilled workers get tax credits.... WTF??? If you need to benefit SKILLED workers, then there is something seriously wrong with your economic model. This country is so seriously beyond redemption it's a joke. I'm off to Oz, along with the clever money is what I'd be saying if I was in a young, skilled and single situation. I feel you r pain Brother, and I am a bit pissed now, but I think ultimately, it is all a smoke screen- A LABOUR government that I voted for, got us in the hole to the tune of £800Bn (The treasury cant even confirm if this is US or UK Bn) in any case, this was a party for the common man that gave all our (and future generations) money to private corporations. I will NOT feel jealousy against a single mother on the take or a "disabled" alcoholic or the multitude of other spongers who are happy to stay on the idle breadline just because my elected representative couldn't control international banking legislation,. GOVERNMENT IS THE PROBLEM> THEY ARE ALL ON THE SAME CENTRE-GROUND ROCK. They once called this a political vacuum.

Having retired two years ago, nothing would persuade me to go back to the world of work, with low pay, poor terms and conditions, bosses who don't know what they are doing, ever increasing work loads, etc, etc. There is absolutely no way that this government will make it attractive to got to work, because they will not regulate employers or insist on a decent wage being paid, which only leaves the alternatives of slashing benefits and making them harder to get by the introduction of more bureaucracy.

The Tory party, the oldest political party on Earth, have a long term plan to destroy the NHS and the Welfare State - created by Labour during their post war government 1945-1950. I was born in q1941 into a Socialist family of Quakers, Methodists and Levellers, so I know exactly what I'm talking about. Every time we've elected, or got ourselves a Tory government, the same thing happens within days of them taking office. They start dismantling the Welfare State and destroying the NHS. The Tories have friends in the USA and they want to sell the NHS lock stock and barrel to them. Thus they will become the rich shareholders of new private hospitals worth billions of pounds of the people's money. Do not be fooled by the Tories. They are mostly aristoctrats - many of them now sitting in the House of Commons where once they were banned, but are now allowed under EU regulations. We are told that David Cameron is 'middle class' - don't believe a word of it. He is a cousin of the Queen, an aristocrat. The one thing the Tories fear most is a well fed and cared for Working Class. They fear losing their positions of power over the people. The truth of the matter is that no matter who we vote for to form a government at Westminster, the real power and money remains in the hands of a select group called "The Mayfair Set". These include such as the Duke of Westminster and many other top rank aristocrats, landowners and the gentry at large. These people, backers of the Tory Party, have no plans to allow the Common People to rule UK. The Queen dislikes the Tories, but can do nothing about it. Why? Because when they are in power she sees unrest in her kingdom and it will get worse, far worse than people can imagine. We have a Tory Mayor of London who refuses to talk to the RMT over issues of jobs down the Tube and safety of passengers and etc. He says 'cobblers' to the Unions. Well Boris, bad news mate, because in 2012 there will be an election for your job and Londoners are mostly Red or at least left of centre and far more likely to vote for Ken Livingstone next time around. He at least is a real Londoner who understands London and Londoners. blah rant etc. POWER TO THE PEOPLE

this is nothing to do with britain it is all to do with a world sea change. the people who actually control everything in the world are trying to move to a situation whereby every country in the world will have exactly the same pay rates the same prices for everything, e.g cigarettes all heading for the same price in europe. having achieved this they can then regulate the worlds economy so that the top 1% of the worlds population will always own 95% of the worlds total wealth. to do this in britain they got us all to fill in all the forms for claiming back income tax credit and pension tax credit etc and now know what nearly every person in the country is worth down to the last pound. now they are trying to find what everyone spends what little they have left on. to do this they ask everyone to pay everything by credit card or direct debit. answer dont let them win stop all direct debits buy everything for cash, change your bank every two years, never fill in any surveys, always keep them guessing.
