What do do people of Zimbabwe who live in Britain think of Robert Mugabe?

• As a Britain, I thought Robert Mugabe was this tyrant who oppressed his people and who should be removed from power. I work at a hotel and we have someone who grew up there but who moved to the Uk when the killings started in the late 90s. I have to say he is one of the nicest people i've ever met and probably wouldn't say a bad word against anyone, but he says Mugabe isn't such a bad person and that the British press print lies about him. That started me thinking that maybe the press, backed by the British government were trying to destroy his reputation? What do real people who have lived in Zimbabwe think of this man. The few people I've met who have come from that country have been the most kind and educated people i've known so surely Mugabe isn't so bad?
