How to become president?

How can a nobody become student body president? Ideas inside?

• Okay so its my freshman year in high school. I wanted to run for Student Government President this year but i didn't know where to sign up and everything. So this year and summer i'm planning on how i can win Student Government President for Sophomore year. The thing is, i'm probably going to be against all the popular kids. The ones everyone vote for. Most of them are both nice and smart. All the popular people win and i really want to win next year but i'm not that popular. That's why i'm using this year and summer to plan on how i'm gonna win. Let me just warn you, that i hate being old fashion so when i run i'm putting a twist on EVERYTHING. These are some of my ideas on how i plan to win. What i'm asking you guys is if their 1. To crazy/nerdy/wacky. 2. ARe they good 3. Do i have a good chance on winning Some of my ideas: Advertising. Instead of doing the traditional posters that say Vote for me! i'm twisting it up. First my posters are going to represent my ideas. Like when i run i want to make Generation day (Dress up as one of the older generations in history) So instead of doing a poster i'm hammering a mini disco ball to a metal board. Then on the bottom i'm gonna say Vote for me if you want to have Generations day. ANd i'll make it look nice. Also i've invented this invention. Basically its this contraption that when you pull the lever what's in the container will fall out in small amounts. So if i put MnMs that comes out. SO i was planning to hammer it onto a metal board and hang it up with Vote for Me on the front of the contraption. Spirit days. We get to make up spirit days if we run. So far my ideas are: Ninjas VS Pirates Day Dress up as a Teacher generation Day Nerd Day So these are just a few ideas. Please tell me if u think their good or not. Tell me if u think is should even run. And also if you Can can you tell me the full role of Student Body President. I know its a lot of work/stress but i'm definitely up for it.

  hey, it never hurts to try right? although i think the container with candy idea is greatt it wont work. you see in high school theres always those kids that'll ruin that contraption or those kids that will pull it over and over till its empty. no one will even care bout hte name on there. sometimes the traditional posters are a good idea, if they'r modern flashy and in popular teachers' rooms. so ask around if you can put em up. also, stick em on lockers that way ppl wont miss them. dont be dishearted if you find em crumpled though, that happens all the time. i dont want to say change yourself, but what im saying is get out there and make some competition for those "ppular kids" you can do it!
