What are the main factors of communism?

• OK, I've been wanting to learn a in depth view of communism here lately. I've been in the middle of arguments of capitalists and communists here lately, and I'm not very familiar with the communist side. before i chose a faction, i wanna learn about both of them. here's things i would like to know. what type of health care does communism run on? how do communist economics work? why is the proletariat so important in the communist manifesto? i grew up in America (demonizes communism) so don't call me a fool for something that isn't my fault. (not knowing much about communism) oh and please, don't be all "communism doesn't work!!! thought i don't know anything about it"
