Whats the difference between additional district magistrate and additional district commissioner?

Answer:
Difference exists only in name. The same person would hold both the posts. Normally in North India, the District Commissioner who is the administration head of a district will also hold the post of District Magistrate and he will exercise a few powers conferred on him, except judicial. In South India,the district collector will perform the same.
