Will America start a new world war and when Americas empire falls who will be the next superpower?

what ever america does or doesnt do, China will be the next superpower both financially and militarily, it may even quickly eclipse America. There is always an element of superpower envy. Some of the things America has done are bizzaire, and on hindsight embarassing, it often doesnt get credit for things it has done which have benefitted the reat of the world. Its an easy target for those politically opposed to America (those laregly on the left) and the free market system , some is just political envy (eg France) it possible America may instigate a war, but I doubt it will be to protect its world dominance. Its possible it may go to war to stop Iran building numes... but deep down I doubt it. The one potential risk I can see is that Israel may do soemthing about it, and on the back of that America may get dragged in.

The world is just jealous of the freedoms that come with being American and it's prosperity from those freedoms of thought and finance... We foster freedom from oppression and the rights of a person to have a voice...unfortunately most foreign countries are too busy telling their citizens what to do to listen to freedom knocking at it's door...too bad...there will be no other superpower as the world believes America to be...

We have an empire?? When did that happen and why didn't anyone TELL me? I'm always the last to know and it IRRITATES me! C'mon, guys! Keep me in the loop, for crying out loud!!

Have you ever been out of England? I have been to many countries and have recieved nothing but respect in countries that "hate" America. And thats the beauty of it. America does NOT rule the world, but we do fight against those who would try. Sorry you dont understand that.

Slow down! America will only decline if and when there is no where else to outsource anymore. Who's fighting this war beside Osama? People will always hate America, the hatred only lessens for short periods of time. Trust me, there is no next superpower. Just a bunch of wannabees like Chavez.

Poeple all over the world do not hate America. Most would like to come here and millions do every year. Alot of other governments hate America and their strength. Alot of those who do hate America have no clue what America is really like. Only what their Governments state run news tells them.

Once/If America Falls there will not be any SuperPower any more There will be grouping of Nations.
