US Post Office mail forwarding questions?
-
Hi..... I'm waiting for some mail from immigration... but I suddenly have to move. So I want to use USPS mail forwarding. I heard that the way it works is automated. The computer which sorts mail scans addresses. If its going to my old address the computer will recognize that and it will put it somewhere for forwarding. Is that true? How effective is this system? 99.9% or what? I'm worried because the immigration mail I'm expecting is very important. By the way how does the computer recognize addresses which are handwritten?
