Will i get my refund by the 3rd?

Why did the IRS make it so you have to pay a fee to get your refund through a 3rd party?

    The IRS did not make a law that says you have to get your refund from a third party. This must have been told to you by the misguided people who did your taxes so they can collect more money from you. All refunds come from the U.S. Treasury. There are private companies who will advance you the money if you have a refund due if you don't want to wait for the Treasury to issue you a refund. If you go this route the business can charge you what ever they want as a fee for paying you with their own money and then you will sign a form legally handing over your Treasury refund to them instead of you. Effectively they are giving you a loan and charging a fixed interest rate in advance.
