What chances in tourist visa USA before the Fiancee visa do I have?

  • I have already one Business visa that just had 1 entry and I used on a business travel I had a month ago. I am working on my job since June 2008. And I returned to my country after the trip before the visa was expired. The bad thing is that I forgot to return the I-94 and I called the embassy and they told me that next time I will travel I should give that to the airline. Now I want to get the tourist visa because I want to visit my fiancee before we get married. but I know that in the tourism form there is a question which says "do you have a fiancee in USA", and I think I will write no because if I say "yes" that will means I will need the K visa and no the tourist visa. My fiancee despite of this wants to ask me as a fiance (the K visa) after I will apply to the tourist visa. I am just afraid that If the embassy will reject the visa they will reject me the time my fiancee will ask me, probably saying I lied to them on this last form. I am trying to get this tourist visa because I know that the K visa takes like 6 or more months to be given. And also my fiancee will need a co sponsor that I think I will means that will take more time. I want to have the chance to see him more times during the time we will be working on the K visa, I miss him a lot, the webcam and microphones

    As long as you can convince the interviewing officer that you intend to return after a short trip and do the fiance visa later, you can be approved for a tourist visa. the fact that you already have a business visa and didn't abuse that should help, although that's no guarantee. but tell the truth about your fiance, otherwise it may well cost you problems later when you do the fiance interview.

if you say NO on that question, then you are committing a criminal and deportable office. when your fiance applies for the K fiance visa and the immigration dept look at your previous visa application and when they read your answer NO then they will know that you lied and you will NOT get the fiancee visa at all so there will be no marriage. you really should NOT worry about the tourist visa. the american partner should really be coming to see you to keep the relationship going and you need to learn to be a LOT more patient or you wont be going anywhere. Yes the fiance visa may take up to a year to be processed and there is nothing you can do to make it go any faster. There are thousads of applications ahead of yours and they must be processed first before yours is. STICK with the webcams and the emails - thats what I did. My fiance and I chatted to each other by telephone and email and on the webcam every day for 9 months before we were married. We have now been married for 9 years. It pays to be patient!!!
