  Firstly, a good grasp of the written word is required.... :-P Text speak is generally frowned upon in government... Secondly, I should think that qualifications vary, however all will be high. You're looking at a degree and a masters degree probably. Also note that one doesn't just 'become' the ambassador for a country in another country. You need to work your way up through the governmental structure, which considering the fact that India has over 3 million civil servants in it's clogged up political system is quite a hard thing to do most likely. Along with all this you would most likely require an extremely good background knowledge of India as a country (It's history, growth, ecconomic base, etc...) as well as knowledge of it's current policies in various things and planned future policies. You would also have to know this knowledge if not more about the country you are going to be ambassador in. You'd have to pass general security checks I would ahve thought (I doubt a criminal record would be let through for example). Being able to speak multiple languages couldn't hurt either probably. If however, you truly do wish to become an 'embassy', then I would suggest going down to your local builder's merchant and buy some bricks and mortor :D
