How can I get my CRB check in England as a EU citizen?

• I am an Italian citizen resident in London for over 4 years. In ten 10 days I am relocating to Malta and my new employer (an E-Gaming company) asked me to provide a "police conduct". I told my employer that I am not authorized by law to apply for a CRB check myself but the company has to do it. The employer said I might try to ask the Italian Embassy in London but I do not think they can help me. Do you know how I can sort out my problem? Thanks.

  Ring the Home Office on the number in the link they should be able to tell you if you can apply for a CRB as an individual http://www.crb.homeoffice.gov.uk/using_the_website/general_information.aspx#furtherInfo It will take more then 10 days to complete the whole process so I hope starting your new job isn't hinging on receiving this You should also point out to your employer if they're not willing to countersign the form then they won't receive a copy of the CRB from the source & they will dependant on you providing an original copy
