UK passport traveling to USA?

Will renewing my UK passport in the USA affect my USA citizenship?

• I have dual citizenship, I am an original Brit and was granted USA citizenship in 2007. I just read the warning on the UK passport renewal form that data is shared with US agencies. Does anyone know if my UK passport renewal will affect my US citizenship in any way? I'm a good boy, no criminal record, excellent credit etc Thanks for you time.

  The United States accepts U.S. citizen to hold another citizenship although you have sworn not to do so during your naturalization process. The warning that you may lose another citizenship on the application form refers to countries that do not accept dual citizenship. For example an Indian citizen who has naturalized in the United Kingdom would lose the Indian citizenship by getting a U.K. passport. You probably have misinterpreted the information concerning data protection on the application form. It states: ◙ Information ... may be passed to other [UK] government department and agencies ... Based on your interpretation it would need to state: ◙ Information ... may be passed to departments and agencies of other governments ... There is no need to visit a U.K Consulate.
