How can I get Spain tourist visa from the UK?

Already got rejected for my UK Tourist visa, should I apply for Schengen now? Also, will I ever get a visa?

• I am from India and have just graduated from college and don't have a job yet. Stupid on my part then to plan a trip to the UK and Europe in this situation. I applied for a UK Visa but since I'm not a college student anymore and don't have a job(yet) to come back to, they thought I would stay on and my visa application was refused, even though that my dad was sponsoring my trip(letter from him) plus proof of his funds. I ve also got a letter from my uncle staying in the UK(a doctor) stating that he will accomodate me for the two weeks. So its pretty obvious I was rejected because I didn't have a document to prove that I was going to return, which I don't have at the moment I'm in a fix now. Should I apply for my Schengen visa and visit the rest of Europe atleast? I understand that there is quite a big possibility that my Schengen visa could also be rejected on the same grounds. Would it be better then to just wait till next summer when I have a steady job and then apply for both visas rather than getting yet another rejected stamp on my passport?
