• Hi I hold an Indian passport and traveling from NZ to India and back, both times via Bangkok, Thailand, where I have my transit for 24 hours the first time and then 14 hours on the way back. How to apply for a transit visa on arrival? Please tell me: How and where to apply for a transit visa on arrival? Do I need a double-entry visa as I will transit once again on the way back? How to apply for a double entry visa and how much cost will it be? How long will the transit visa with the entries valid? I will transit twice within a 30 days period, for your information.   Visa on arrival is issued as single entry, non-extensible visa valid for 15 days. You need to apply for the visa twice, on your way to New Zealand and on your way back. - According to the Interior Ministerial Announcements, passport holders from 22 countries and territories (to include India) may apply for visas at the immigration checkpoints for the purpose of tourism for the period of not exceeding 15 days. - The applicant must possess means of living expenses at the amount of 10,000 Baht per person and 20,000 Baht per family accordingly. - The applicant must possess a passport with at least six-month validity and must present full paid ticket which is usable within 15 days since the date of entry - Visa on arrival is provided at 24 designated international checkpoints and applicants should submit the application form duly filled out and to which his/her recent photograph (4 x 6 cm) is attached. http://www.mfa.go.th/web/2482.php?id=2491 ..
