Does all of your hair have to be in a UK passport photo?

UK Passport Photo Requirements?

  • I got a passport photo done a week or so ago. I got two identical photos, on one piece of paper. I've since lost one of them. As I need two photos, I scanned the original photo and printed off another of the same size. However, the quality of the second one isn't as high as the first. I know the photos have to be identical - is this just the image, or the quality of them, too? You only use one on your actual passport.

  • Answer:

Get it done again. For the sake of a few ££, you risk having your application rejected. It'll be obvious that the photos aren't identical. Only one is used on your passport, but the other one is a record on your file of the passport photo. That's the reason It has to be identical.

This Wouldn't Be Appropriate And Chances Are You'd Get It Sent Back Though They Use Just The One The Other Is For Fraud Purposes plus these people are definatly picky about small detail so i'd say your best bet is to get another set done bit of a pain i know seen as there pretty expensive.
