Passport in 1 day?????

  • I need to get my passport renewed, it has expired. I have not changed my name, i have had my own passport before and I have been living in englad in all my life, it is not lost stolen or damaged just needs renewal. I need to get it renewed tomorrow and heard you can get a 1 day premium at a price. Does anyone know where i can find out about this? Does it need to be booked? Where abouts is it? (in london) 10 pts thanks

It's a catch 23! You can get it done at one of the seven Regional Passport Offices in the country. They are located at Belfast, Durham, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Newport, and Peterborough. To apply for the passport in person using the Premium one-day service (£129.50) you need to get an appointment. It is available on weekdays for appointments before 4.00 pm in London, 1.30 pm in Liverpool, 1.00 pm in Peterborough, 12.30 pm in Glasgow and Newport, 12.00 noon in Belfast and Durham. To make an appointment you can call the IPS Passport Adviceline on 0300 222 0000. The line is open between 8.00 am and 8.00 pm Monday to Friday and 9.00 am and 5.30 pm on weekends and public holidays. Demand for appointments in all IPS regions is usually very high. You should therefore allow up to two weeks for your appointment date. http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAndTransport/Passports/howlongittakesandurgentappplications/DG_174149 ..
