How does the mobility scheme work?

May I ask, about the youth mobility scheme, I'm Indonesian Citizen?

I'm Indonesian citizen and want to go to UK to do holiday work with youth mobility scheme visa. My guest family has take caring some thing for my departure. They said as I get my eligibility, and they'll sent me contract, flight ticket and others, I can go to nearest British consulate to get my Visa. So, I'll just ask, if I can do that? I mean, Indonesia is not one of the country in the scheme?
