How do I get a New American Passport Replacement?

  • Hi! I'm located in Dubai, UAE. Recently, my email was hacked by some african scammers, and my passport details was stolen, and being used on the internet. Followed by that, some psycho sikh Indian makes a complaint against against me as revenge because I made a complaint against him. He copied my EXACT complaint and pasted it and stuck my name & my passport number on it. Well long story short, my number is around the net now, and african scammers are using my copy. Don't tell me to report to the UAE authorities, they don't give. So I need to know, HOW CAN I GET A NEW PASSPORT TO REPLACE THE ONE I HAVE NOW WITHOUT HAVING TO REPORT IT LOST? Once I get the new passport, my number will change, and thats what I want. If I report it lost here, in UAE, they will ask for a police report, and I don't want all that. Can I report it mutilated? Please help! Thank you!

Report it stolen. You need a police report and your US birth certificate. You must report it so the Department of Homeland Security put a stop to it so no one else can use it. They will issue you a new one with new passport number. If you report it mutilated, they will need to see that.
