How do I get a visa to Brazil?

How long will it take to get a visa to visit Brazil?

  • I'm an American citizen visiting Argentina, and will be going to Brazil via Argentina. I was wondering if i need a visa to get into Brazil, and if i do, how long will it take to get a visa at the Brazilian embassy in Buenos Aires?

  • Answer:

ENTRY/EXIT REQUIREMENTS: A passport and visa are required for U.S. citizens traveling to Brazil for any purpose. Brazilian visas must be obtained in advance from the Brazilian Embassy or consulate nearest to the traveler's place of residence. not sure how long it will take? and usually, one must apply in his country of residence....not as a tourist, but the embassy does not accept visa demands, you must address yourself to the consulate of Brazil in Argentina: http://www.conbrasil.org.ar/CONSBRASIL/index.asp but? you can try it....
