How long would it take to get a Schengen Visa from the French Embassy?

Hi, I'm leaving for France on the 25th of June and the earliest possible appointment I could get was on June 14th with the French consulate in New York for a Schengen visa. That means that I have 11 days to get a visa, otherwise my plane ticket will go to waste :[ I already have all the proper documentation and although I am a US permanent Resident, I hold a foreign passport (Burmese, to be exact). Does anyone know how long it will take me to get a visa. Or if you have applied for a visa with the French Embassy, how long did it take you? Would I be able to get one within 11 days?
